Letter Writing - Jacinda Ardern

Task - Write a letter to
Jacinda Ardern
Jacinda Ardern has been advising New Zealand on how best to help the country to fight covid-19. With help from others she has been making decisions as to which levels New Zealand needs to be in and also what these levels look like to help our wellbeing. Today we are going to write her a letter letting her know how much we appreciate what she has done.

~Part 1:
Introduce yourself and explain who you are, and where you go to school. What you have been doing during level 3 and 4 to help keep New Zealand safe.

~Part 2:
Thank Jacinda for all of the hard work that she has put in to keep us all safe and healthy.

~Part 3:
Write a message of support, put yourself in Jacinda’s shoes and think about all of the hard decisions she has had to make to keep us all safe.

Continue your letter below

Dear Jacinda Ardern, My name is Grace, how I got to school was walking with my mum and my baby sister also what I’ve been doing in level 3 and 4 was just staying at home and going for a morning walk with my family to the beach, also my mum and I did some baking and what we baked was cookies, cakes and brownies.

I just want to thank you and your team for helping us survive the covid-19 and helping us get through it and thank you for letting us kids go to school. We all appreciate the fact that you're risking your bubble for ours.

We thank the fact that you're keeping safe and letting us that everything will be okay and that what level we will be moving and that you're looking after your family as well.

Thank you for keeping our world safe.

Yours Sincerely, Grace
